The context

The multiplication of sales channels implies the use of efficient digital tools to manage one’s activity. Goga Concept, originally specialized in game bars, is expanding by opening physical stores and also selling on its e-commerce site and on marketplaces. Boris Vennin, co-manager of Goga Concept, talks to us about his omnichannel management thanks to LUNDI MATIN solutions.

Could you introduce yourself personally as well as the activity of Goga Concept?

I’m Boris Vennin, 33 years old, one of the three partners of Goga Concept. Previously, I was a sales engineer and then a team leader in the IT field. I have always been passionate about board games since childhood and wanted to work in this area.

I discovered “Baraka Jeux” in Montpellier in the Odysseum district and loved the concept of a game bar where you could play and have a drink in a friendly atmosphere. However, there was nothing similar in downtown Montpellier. So, I had the idea of developing the same concept but in the city center. In 2015, I opened the Game Taverne game bar. Three years later, I met Denis, the creator of Baraka Jeux, and after being competitors, we had the idea of developing a company together that would open game bars all over France. So we partnered, along with Marion who had just opened the same concept in Toulouse. That’s how the Goga Concept company was born.

Today we have 12 game bars, spread all over France. These are places where you spend a friendly moment playing games over a drink for both children and adults. In parallel with these game bars, we launched our e-commerce site on December 1, 2020, to sell board games online. We have 3000 references of board games and educational toys. We are committed to eco-responsibility by offering wooden toys and prioritizing games made in Europe as much as possible.

The challenge

How did you discover LUNDI MATIN solutions?

We discovered LUNDI MATIN through our web agency Antadis, with whom we collaborated for the e-commerce site barakajeux.com. We were looking for an omnichannel ERP capable of unifying the data from our profit centers, managing our stocks, and having a connector with our website. We wanted to have a more advanced back-office adapted to our future developments. Antadis immediately told us about LUNDI MATIN.

It was during the development of the e-commerce site that we discovered LUNDI MATIN’s solutions.

The solution provided

What were your main needs and why did you choose LUNDI MATIN solutions?

We wanted an omnichannel back office to centralize data across all our profit centers: our BtoB sales since we also sell to our stores, our BtoC sales, and also e-commerce sales.

We chose LMB for all the available connectors: the PrestaShop connector, the carrier connectors (Colissimo, DPD, Mondial Relay), the integration with RoverCash cash register, the marketplace connector and especially Amazon… so it was the perfect solution to meet our needs.

In summary, everything we have today in terms of IT (ERP, connector, invoicing, etc.) is provided by LUNDI MATIN and we are very satisfied with it. In addition to the advanced features, the geographical proximity to LUNDI MATIN is also an important factor for us.

What impact did Covid-19 have on your business?

Our 12 game bars are currently closed and are subject to the same restrictions as more traditional bars. So we had to adapt and reinvent ourselves. This is partly why we decided to develop online sales with our e-commerce site and our presence on marketplaces, and by opening physical stores selling games.

How do you see the future?

We continue the development of Goga Concept with the upcoming opening of new game bars. But Goga Concept is also expanding in the gaming industry in general with the opening of new shops like a few weeks ago in Lattes, but also an escape game room soon and the opening of a restaurant. We also plan to use the AirKitchen solution to manage payments for the restaurant part.

We also plan to develop online sales by increasing our presence on marketplaces in the coming weeks and plan to use the LMB connector to the Shoppingfeed aggregator to share our catalog on Amazon, Cdiscount, Fnac, Rakuten, and eBay.

With the development of our physical stores, we plan to use a href=”https://www.rovercash.fr” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>RoverCash to manage payments, in connection with our back office for synchronized inventory management.

We are very satisfied with LUNDI MATIN solutions. There was an adjustment phase at the beginning of the collaboration, but everything is back on track. Our employees find the solutions easy to use, and as managers, we are delighted to have a powerful management tool.

We thank Boris Vennin for this exchange and see you very soon for a new testimonial!
