The story of Nipahut began in 2015. After numerous trips to the Philippines and enriching local encounters, the company’s director decided to market eco-friendly products with a small environmental footprint, while supporting local employment.

The customer
It was then that he discovered the many virtues of bamboo, which is widely used in Asia. Despite the many obstacles along the way, he decided, with the help of a Filipino friend, to embark on the adventure of making quality bamboo straw huts. These were then shipped to France to be completed with seats and closures made by local saddlers, renowned for their mastery of nautical textiles.
The meeting between Yuto and Nipahut took place in October 2017, at a meeting organised by Offensiv’ PME, a club of entrepreneurs to which Nipahut and RiaStudio belong.
The challenge
Nipahut markets its products to private individuals through sales at shows and fairs throughout France. Before installing Yuto, the six sales staff were making order forms by hand, leading to a number of errors that could potentially be detrimental to the company.
Nipahut was looking for a CRM application specifically for trade fairs, one that met very specific requirements:
- This application for sales staff had to enable orders to be taken for the product range and the various options in the catalogue, based on available stock.
- The company needed a mobile application that could be used on a phone, tablet or laptop.
- This sales force solution had to be able to operate in real time under 4G and allow for staggered synchronisation in the event of a white zone.
- The order-taking application also needed to be able to sign customers’ order forms electronically.
The solution
Adapting Yuto CRM to the specificities of trade show sales was a natural process, thanks to the configuration of the product catalogue. The application enabled Nipahut to standardise its sales process, significantly reducing errors, saving time and generating compliant order forms.
The results
With the Yuto CRM application on tablets and mobiles, Nipahut’s sales staff save precious time in writing their order forms. This allows them to devote more attention to customers during face-to-face sales at trade fairs and shows. As a result, the sales process is better structured, easier and more regulated.
At present, the Yuto application operates completely independently, without any connection to an ERP system.
