The two companies are joining forces to offer retailers innovative software, as well as the integration, support and deployment services necessary to support their digital transformation processes.

With extensive experience in the retail sector and the trust of international customers, the two groups have concluded an agreement through which CODISYS becomes the distributor and integrator in Spain of the Group’s retail software suite LUNDI MATIN: RoverCash (point of sale solution specialized) and LMB (LM ERP – omnichannel back office), thus completing its offering of solutions and services for store networks.

Barcelona, November 21, 2022

With growth of more than 40% per year over the last three years, CODISYS and LUNDI MATIN wish to accelerate their development with a unique software, hardware and service offering. Based on Android technology for collection (RoverCash) and SaaS for the back office (LMB), the LUNDI MATIN Group’s software meets the new needs of retailers, such as mobility, omnichannel and acceptance of new means of payment. The group’s last two acquisitions, namely the e-commerce publisher Oxatis and the marketplace creation solution Wizaplace, complete this software value proposition on the online sales aspect.

For its part, CODISYS brings its experience of more than 30 years in the implementation of IT solutions for the point of sale and the provision of the services necessary for start-up and support, in very demanding business environments.

The two companies have decided to base their development strategy on innovation, made possible by their continuous investments in R&D (more than 120 developers). These innovations are developed in the interest of the point of sale (mobility, omnichannel, multi-payments), back-office teams (simplified deployment, tailor-made offer engine and interoperability with IS) and end customers (adaptation to new purchasing methods).

Android technology: a new ally to accelerate the digital transition of retailers

Historically used in stores on tablets or smartphones (to consult the product catalog, stocks, make sales on the shelves, etc.), Android technology is taking an increasingly important place in the world of physical collection, at the expense of traditional Windows-based cash registers. Lagging behind their American or Asian counterparts, European retail brands are starting to make the transition from Windows to Android. For example, Galeries Lafayette, which deployed more than 3,000 Android checkouts equipped with RoverCash software in their 60 French stores in 2022.

“With 28% growth between 2019 and 2021, the global trend is to replace Windows POS systems with Android solutions. The latter make it possible to gain in ease of use, speed of deployment, and above all to better respond to new consumer purchasing habits. This new technology makes it possible, for example, to simply manage Click & Collect, Order in Store, acceptance of new payment methods or even direct purchases from the shelves, without having to go to the checkout,” explains Lionel Perrin, Managing Director Spain of the LUNDI MATIN Group.

Interoperability, operational excellence and omnichannel offers engine

On the back-office and management side, the LUNDI MATIN Group’s software addresses the various current issues facing retailers:

Interoperability: Connect the point of sale software with the retailers’ existing IT system (ERP, CRM, PIM, e-commerce, marketplace, logistician, etc.).

Operational excellence: Deploy a fully configured checkout in less than 2 minutes, simply by scanning a QR Code in the back office.

Omnichannel offers engine: Set up a commercial animation engine, connected to the different sales channels (online and instore) of retailers, which makes it possible to offer tailor-made offers and communicate more effectively with sellers and customers. .

The last two acquisitions of LUNDI MATIN also allow CODISYS to support retailers in their transition to omnichannel and online sales, thanks to a SaaS e-commerce solution (Oxatis) and the all-inclusive marketplace management platform. in-one (Wizaplace).

Words from the leaders about this strategic alliance:

Benjamin Chalande, CEO of LUNDI MATIN: “Tailored support in the transition to omnichannel”

“One year after the launch of our Spanish subsidiary, which today has more than 150 customers, the signing of this strategic partnership with CODISYS allows us to increase our strengths tenfold in one of the strategic targets of the LUNDI MATIN Group, which are large retailers. The experience and expertise of the CODISYS teams on the Spanish market combined with the innovation provided by our omnichannel software suite allows us to offer tailor-made support to store chains in their digitalization and their transition to omnichannel.”

Ignacio Crespo, CEO of CODISYS: “Offering Spanish retailers a unique and innovative software suite”

“Thanks to its strategy focused on innovation and omnichannel, the LUNDI MATIN Group today equips one of the largest French retailers, and will allow us to offer retail brands a differentiating software suite, thanks to its value proposition functional and technical. Using the same POS software on a traditional point-of-sale terminal, a tablet, a smartphone, or even an Android payment terminal opens new perspectives for retailers in terms of mobility, omnichannel and improved experience customer.”
